December 1, 2020, USD 380 was notified by parents that their students at Centralia School have tested positive for COVID-19. Per our established protocol, we have thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the spaces these individuals were in contact with. We are also in contact with the Nemaha County and Marshall County Health Departments and will take the steps necessary to protect the health of our staff and students.
The individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 will not be allowed to return to school for at least 10 days. There are no close school contacts in these cases. Classes will resume tomorrow. We are closely monitoring this situation and will provide you with updates as we know more. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact your building Principal or Matt Rogers at 785-382-6216 or rogersm@usd380.com.
Sincerely,
Matt Rogers
