Kansas Insurance Commissioner, Vicki Schmidt, announced Parker Koch as the 3rd place winner, and Morgan Allen as the 1st place winner. Parker was awarded $2,000 and Morgan was awarded $5,000. In addition, Morgan will be entered in a follow-up essay contest. The essay prompt was "If you were given $100,000 dollars today to invest for your future, what would you do with it? Describe how you would invest the money and how it would further your overall financial goals." The scholarship money will be put into a 529 account to be used for future education expenses. Great job to students, faculty, and parents for these accomplishments.
