The Physics class took a tour of Landoll yesterday. It was a great tour of a small town business that has grown and gives back to its community.

Mrs. Conley's 2nd graders wrote a program in Python to check their subtraction, then finished the afternoon coding their art! They love computer science!!

I love visiting all of our classrooms and watching our students and teachers at work. The accounting students were working on payroll today! Accounting was a favorite subject of mine as a Business Teacher!

The Centralia band and choir, along with three ensembles, four instrumental solos, and three vocal solos, participated in the TVL Music Contest on March 19th. The ratings range from 1-5, with 1 being Outstanding and 5 being Ineffective.
The Jr. High/High School Band received a 3 rating
The High School Choir received a 2 rating.
The Mixed Vocal Ensemble received a 2 rating.
The Girls Vocal Ensemble received a 2 rating.
The Boys Vocal Ensemble received a 1 rating.
Calie Deters received a 2 rating on her baritone saxophone solo.
Jacie Koch received a 1 rating on her flute solo and a 2 rating on her vocal solo.
Parker Koch received a 1 on his tenor saxophone solo and a 2 rating on his vocal solo.
Kalin Olberding received a 2 rating on his tuba solo.
Lily Puvogel received a 1 rating on her vocal solo.
The solos and ensembles will participate in our regional contest on April 13th at Benedictine College. The band and choir will participate in our state contest on April 18th in Atchison.
Congratulations to Paxton Bowers & Reese Tanking for being selected to play in the NEK Basketball All-Star Game at Highland Community College. The game will take place on Sunday, March 24th at 3:00 pm.

SCHOOL CALENDAR CHANGES: Centralia is hosting TVL Forensics on April 3rd. The facilities and staff will be used to run this event which means students will not be in school. No School for students on Wednesday, April 3rd. Monday, April 22 was scheduled as a Professional Development day without students, but this has been changed to a student contact day. School will be in session for Students on April 22nd. Please contact Wade Talley if you have any questions.

The 38th Annual All-Star Game will take place on Saturday, March 23rd at 1:00 pm at the Ben Allen Field House at Highland Community College.
