This past Monday, FFA students traveled to Holton High school for NED FFA Leadership School. We had 4 teams compete one Greenhand rituals team a Greenhand parliamentary procedure team a senior rituals team and a senior parliamentary procedure team.

The 8th grade participated in the Nemaha County Conservation District poster contest. We had 3 in the top 5 and one honorable mention. Brady B placed first at district, Kya F was 3rd and Bella H was 4th with Blair W. Being honorable mention! We also learned that Brady B. Won 1st at state at well.

1st Graders have been preparing some items for our Veteran's Day Program this Friday at 9:00 a.m. in the south gym.
Mrs. McKee's Class designed Rubber Band Boats and Balloon Cars to help in the study of stored energy. I had videos of the cars racing through the hallway but unable to upload. If I can get the videos uploaded I will share because the students were excited about their projects.

Congratulations to Parker Koch who received awards at his KMEA audition this past weekend. He made 2nd Chair Tenor Sax in the KMEA District 1 Honor band 1A-6A and this honor band will be performing on December 2nd in Topeka. He will be auditioning for a State position in the future.

Students had a great time dressing up for our Halloween Parade and Trick or Treating festivities. Thank you to all the area businesses that participated in the trick or treating walk around town! The students and staff are very appreciative of your support!

Land Survey Data Collector
USD 380 Schools is searching for two individuals to help collect data in a 6-question land survey. The data collection team will meet on November 5, 14th, and 21st from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.. A short training session will be provided at the start of the November 5th session.

Congratulations to the Centralia runners for a very good season.
Kristopher Fulkerson set a new personal best with a time of 18:01 and earned a 24th place finish. The Girls faced a lot of competition and placed 10th as a team. Each ran very close to their personal best with Meleah Talley and Cora Thompson each setting new personal best times. Meleah's PR time was 21:53 and Cora's PR time was 22:51. Morgan, Keelyn, and Lily ran very close to their personal best. Proud of what they accomplished this year.
