Mrs Poe's FBLA students treated the K-6 students to the Animated Grinch movie and a popcorn. Thank you to Ag partners for donating water and popcorn.





This Quilt was made by Mrs. Gleason's Enrichment students for the Comfort care unit Nemaha Valley Community Hospital. Colton Slater, Brody Grossnickle, and Derek Koch-Great job to all of them!


Mrs Kramer's child development class just completed their birthday party vision boards. Next on the list is some potluck from their menu!

6th Grade Students have been working on keyboarding skills this semester. They started with pool play on Wednesday and had a sweet sixteen showdown today. Our fastest typer was Greyson with 67 WPM. Great Job!





The 2023 KAY sponsored Fill-A-Door for a free day was a success. The goods were delivered to the Centralia Community Church Food Pantry. Thank you to all the students and teachers who participated!

Field trip to the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City, Spectragraphics (label printing company), and First Heritage Bank was a success! Students left before the sun was up, but as always, they asked thoughtful questions and represented Centralia well. Huge shoutout to Bruce Bachman for sponsoring our trip, and to Mike Thompson for driving the big yellow school bus through Kansas City!

November FBLA service member for Centralia is Morgan Allen. Also, FBLA and business classes are headed to the Federal Reserve today in KC. Mr. Bruce Bachman and the bank is sponsoring the trip. We are grateful for all the support the school receives from our area businesses!


The 4th graders brought aguinaldos, surprise Christmas gifts, to the care home. The class was inspired after reading a story about bringing aquinaldos to the care home. They made origami trees with the help of Mrs. Gore to bring to the residents. While they were there they sang some songs and visited with the residents.

Mrs. Poe's 8th grade business students were asked to design a business. They researched upfront costs, recurring costs, and identified their target markets. Then presented their business idea to the class. One creative group brought ice cream to represent their ice cream shop!
