Tonight is also Senior Night for the basketball players, wrestlers, cheerleaders, dancers and band members. They will be recognized after the Varsity Girls game.

Congratulations to our students who have achieved Distinguished Scholar, Rising Scholar, and Early Scholar levels of distinction in the PreACT Rising Stars program from ACT. The freshman completed their PreACT this past fall. To be recognized as a Distinguished Scholar, you must rank in the 97th percentile and higher in the US. Rising Scholars have a US Rank of 90th percentile to 96th percentile, and Early Scholars are students who score in the 50th percentile to 89th percentile. Way to go!

Thanks to NextEra Energy Resources and Matt Lobdell for a monetary donation. This allowed for the purchase of standing desk and chairs, beanbag chairs, computer lap desks, wobble stools, incentive drink station, walking pad, stress balls, games, light covers, chair bands, and a diffuser. This was all used in Mrs. Broxterman's room to upgrade to alternative seating and provide incentives to students.

I should have gotten more pics but would like to thank Mrs. Sara Kramer and recognize her JH cheerleaders for providing a great atmosphere at both the girls and the boys game. Job well done to the JH cheer team and to the student section.

Congratulations to the JH girls basketball team for winning the OTL championship game tonight in Frankfort. Girls fought hard till the end and won in overtime.

The girls basketball team went and watched Oen play last night.

The Varsity Scholars Bowl team travels to Onaga today for Regional Scholars Bowl.
