The Junior Class is offering a Senior Night special tomorrow at the football game.

district’s annual budget used to build, maintain or improve facilities. These funds are used for annual maintenance and replacement of HVAC
units, carpet, transportation, and equipment. The maximum the state allows for Capital Outlay budgets is 8 mills. Even if the school district maxed
theirs out (currently it’s at 7 mills), it would not generate enough income to pay for large projects. Also, the State of Kansas discourages school districts
from building large cash reserves, as annual funds are encouraged to be used for students today. This limits their ability to save for major projects for the
future. A bond is the only path to address a district’s major facility needs. The School Bond is on the Nov 3rd ballot. "

Junior High Volleyball & Football have their last regular season games tonight in Centralia.
Thank you to all those at First Heritage Bank who took this day off this past Monday to do a service project for the community and school. The first picture is a before picture and then you can see the fruit of their labor for the day. I believe they brought some retirees back as well for the event. Now to just get the digital sign working again.
