Centralia School will be hosting KSHSAA Sectional Playoff football on Friday Nov. 11 against Olpe. Kickoff is at 7:00pm at Riggins Family Field. Centralia Schools looks forward to all of you joining us in the stands and on the sidelines. Time to Shine Panthers!



The west OTL vocal clinic was hosted by Centralia tonight. Students from 4 area schools come together to work as one with a clinician ( Richard Philbrook).The students put on a great show with some great vocal pieces! The Centralia students represented the school well tonight!

Congratulations to the Centralia Panther Football team for being Regional Champs and advancing to the next round in the playoffs. Panthers defeated a very tallented Jefferson County North Team 34-8.

Kent Schnakenberg is attempting his 67 mile bike ride today since November is Diabetes Awareness Month. His Centralia fan club greeted him as he passed through and of course he took time to visit with the students and his good friend Mason McClain.

Congratulations to our Centralia Scholar's Bowl Team who placed 2nd at the NC invitational last night. Awesome start to their season!!

Congratulations to Race Engelken for running a great race today at State cross country at Wamego. He was near his PR on a very tough course! He represented Centralia Schools well today! Again thanks to all those that came today supporting the athletes!Time to Shine!

Congratulations to Meleah Talley for placing 11th at the State Cross Country meet at Wamego this morning. Very nice of all the students and families that came down to support her and Race Engelken who runs at 11:45. Time to Shine Panthers.


State Pep Rally for our Cross Country runners had some interesting acts. Mr. Crowthers does a great job every year pushing his athletes to not only be great runners but great students. Good luck to Meleah and Race tomorrow at Wamego. 10 am girls start, 11:45am boys start

A few of many things happening today here at Centralia Schools. Regan Becker read to the Kindergarten Class today, Mr. Conley is in a hurry today and don’t know why, Lots of objectives in our Social Studies, and two young ladies working on a scrap book for community projects.




Mrs. Rempe’s first grade class and Mrs. Kramer’s Finance class joined forces today. The high school students played games with the young ones. The games focused on skills that had to do with money and math. These interactions are good for all ages.


Congratulations to the lady panther volleyball team on a great season. They fought hard all afternoon and represented our school and community extremely well. They lost in 3 tonight in the Sub state finals but not from a lack of effort. Proud to be a Panther!

Congratulations to both the girls and boys cross country team for competing at a high level at Regionals this morning. Girls team place 5th just missing the cut for State. Race Engelken and Meleah Talley both qualified individually for State. Good luck to the both of them!

The officials were recognized at tonight’s game. We would like to thank Doug Allen - Dean Smith -Scott Aberle - Brandon Key -Gary Dorrell - for all their years of service and dedication to Kansas athletes @kshsaa.



Mrs. Gore and Centralia Schools would like to thank the Parents and Community for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair. The event raised $6000+ that will be used to maintain our book selection and library resources. Hats off to Mrs. Gore for running a successful fundraiser.


Wanted to recognize @conleyjada, for presenting with @MrAofeducation aka Trevor Ashcraft at the Great Ideas in Education Conference hosted by @ksdehq. Their topic was “Making Sense of KESA Data”. Mrs Conley played a vital role in a very successful USD 380 KESA DLT team.👏👏👏
