The Centralia Junior High Volleyball & Football teams start their season tonight at HOME versus Doniphan West!
Volleyball starts at 5:30 pm with the 'A' Team, followed by 'B' Team and followed by 'C' team.
Football kicks off at 6:00 pm.

As I said in an earlier post, Friday Night Fun Night will be a lot brighter in Centralia Kansas. This post is to promote the hardworking dad's and volunteers within the community that paint Riggins Family Field. I wish I could name them all but with the as big of groups that show up to paint, it would be hard to put all names in one post. It's a Great Day To Be Alive And To Be A Panther!

It's a great day to be alive and to be a Panther. Parents and Community, the Centralia School playground is once again seeing a lot of progress. Our final Pour and Play rubberized surface is currently being laid down and fence is being installed. This means that our Playground is currently off limits for the next 4-5 days. The surface that is being installed needs time to properly cure. We are asking for our students, parents, and community to stand with the school next few days and help us eliminate all traffic on what will be an amazing looking ADA compliant playground. If you happen to see my vehicle at school tonight and tomorrow, I will be doing my part as well to monitor. I am grateful and I am excited for all the communities that make up Centralia Schools. Our kids and grandkids are going to absolutely love the end results . Have a good evening!

Congratulations to the Lady Panthers on a 2nd place finish today at Wabaunsee Tournament- They lost to Rock Creek in the championship game--21 - 25 & 19-25--Great start to the season Lady Panthers!

On behalf of the Centralia Football team and the entire school, we would like to thank Nemaha Central coaches and administrators for hosting the jamboree. Thank you also to the NC Friday Nighters football group for feeding the team afterwards. Thank you!

Centralia High School Volleyball kicks off the 2025 season with a Tournament at Wabaunsee.
Pool Play games are at 10:00, 11:00 & 12:00, followed by bracket play.

Centralia Football travels to Seneca for a Football Jamboree with Nemaha Central & Hiawatha tonight starting at 6 pm.

The high school is looking for adult volunteers to help host a REALL simulation for grades 9-11. This project is a hands on simulation designed to challenge youth to critically think about choices and decisions made in adolescence and how they may have consequences in adulthood. Orientation begins at 8 am and the simulation will last until approximately 12:30. Lunch will be provided. Please comment on this post, or email, Misty Poe, Jena Kramer, or Whitney Niehues if you're interested in helping with this experience.

Also a big shout out to Mrs. Stallbaumer and her stuco members for organizing the event and to Mrs. Kramer and her cheer team for putting on a great pep rally tonight.

The word for the year-Grateful! We are grateful for the amazing turn out at our annual bonfire event. Thank you to the parent's and community for supporting the school and our students! Thank you to the Centralia Fire Department for volunteering their time to tonight's event!

Mrs. Bergman's Physics class has been working on their understanding of using the 3D printer. They were able to find an item, put it in the software, make adjustments and print. They are now looking to print items for classrooms.

Seniors have the pallets set for the annual bonfire tomorrow night- Reminder that the Juniors are serving a meal from 5-7:00, SITE council member's are giving tours of the school starting at 4:45, volleyball scrimmage at 5:00 and the pep rally at 7:30 on football field.

Jayden Heideman, Jacie Koch and Alina Feldkamp have completed the Business Achievement Award - Contributor Award (Level 1).
The BBA's are an individual achievement award program for FBLA High School members. Participating students can enhance their leadership skills, expand their business knowledge, contribute to their local communities, and earn recognition by immersing themselves in their school and communities. By completing the Contributor Award (Level 1), members are introduced to the foundations of FBLA and learn how to best take advantage of the opportunities available to members. Total time commitment is approximately 2 hours.
Jayden, Jacie and Alina are Centralia FBLA officers this year, and have completed the BAA Award on their own time. Congratulations!
