Congrats to Quentin & Ben on earning Sports in Kansas 2-1A All State Baseball Honorable Mention!

First of all, I hope I explain this correctly but mainly wanted to promote this to our community and parents. Earlier in June, a group of students attended Mrs. Mckee's Summer Stem Sessions. They did computer coding using a Scratch Program. They also programmed Robots , and Drones to maneuver themselves. Here is a link that contains videos and photos of the sessions. https://youtu.be/J7-6RDmlI7Q

Congrats to Tava, Hayden & Blair for being named to the Sports in Kansas 3A All State Softball Honorable Mention!

Congrats to Morgan Allen, for being a Kansas Financial Scholars scholarship winner! She will receive $5,000 to further her education this fall.

FBLA nationals are less than 2 weeks away. The Partnership with Business team has been preparing by practicing their presentation at First Heritage Bank. Members Parker Koch, MaKenna Akin-Schober and Isabel Haverkamp presented to Bruce Bachman, Kate Haverkamp and Lanette Hiltebrand. Centralia FBLA partnered with First Heritage Bank to host a Family Financial Literacy Night for the Centralia/Corning community in November. The team turned that event into a project, and completed a written report, placed first at state, and will now compete in Anaheim, California.
